Factory finish enamel on aluminum sheeting

The glossy enameled surface is sanded and scratched to create text and highlights and shadow tones in the aluminum’s surface, imaging the faces of the two protagonists of Bergman’s film Persona. White areas are made by completely removing the enamel and polishing the underlying aluminum to as full a mirror finish as possible.
